First EdsQ member meeting of 2019

Nibbles and Networking

Going to the conference and want to see if anyone wants to share an Airbnb?

Want to network with other editing colleagues and learn from each other?

Want to find out more about the new IPEd Ambassador program?

Are you a new member and would like to get to know other editors?

Sick of working alone as a freelancer and want to connect more?

Come to the first Editors Queensland member meeting of this year. And by the way, it's not only for members. We will allow time for networking, and our esteemed IPEd Chair Kerry Davies will provide a brief update on what's happening at the national level, including more information about the new Ambassador program.

Extend the networking over dinner at a nearby restaurant - please RSVP for dinner to edqld.events@iped-editors.org.

We have a great new venue: New Farm Library. Details below.

Date: Wednesday 6 February
Time: 6.00 pm for nibbles; meeting starts at 6.30 pm
Venue: New Farm Library hall, 135 Sydney St New Farm
Cost: $12 for members (and QWC members with membership receipt), $17 for non-members.

Please register by COB Tuesday 5 February.
Book the event on the IPEd events page.

EdsQ is also keen to know what you want from your member meetings, so please provide feedback, suggestions or speaker ideas. Also, we are still looking for an Events Coordinator for Editors Qld to look after our monthly member meetings, with the possibility of having an Events Support Officer to back up the Coordinator role. If you are interested, please let our president, Christine Atkinson, know at edqld.president@iped-editors.org.
