Tools to run your business, edit, proof and project manage - a collaborative session
As editors, we use a range of tools to improve the quality of the documents we review, but new products are coming on to the market all the time. How can you work out what is best for you and your editing business?
This half-day workshop explores how self-employed editors can use software in the execution of projects and administration of their business. We will look at apps for Mac and PC, as well as the online tools that the presenter's company, Red Pony, employs. We will discuss how you might apply these or similar tools to run your own editing business. You will also be given tips on how to research and choose the right tool for your purpose.
