You're invited to our first Editors Qld member meeting of 2018, with guests Robert Whyte and Anne Jones from ToadShow.
Date: Wednesday 7 February 2018
Time: 6.30pm (nibbles and drinks from 6.00pm)
Venue: The Gabba Ward Office, 2/63 Annerley Rd Woolloongabba (corner of Crown St and Annerley Rd) - entry via the back door off the car park. Ample parking at the back or on street.
Cost: $10 for members (and QWC members with membership receipt), $15 for non-members.

Robert Whyte is an author, editor and journalist whose works include modernist fiction, political satire, science journalism and books. He is a founding co-owner and director of the Brisbane-based multimedia firm ToadShow. Robert's books include a novel, a guide to creek restoration, and A Field Guide to Spiders for Australia, which was published in 2017 by CSIRO Publishing.
Anne Jones is a writer, editor and managing partner of ToadShow. Anne was a founder of the Cane Toad Times and has been involved in Brisbane community radio, theatre and press.
Anne and Robert will talk about their careers and surviving as a writer, editor and creative in Brisbane.

Anne and Robert will be selling books at the meeting ($40 signed by both authors). They will have a mobile EFTPOS machine for those without cash.
