IPEd Conference, Brisbane 2017 - archive

The 8th National IPEd Editors Conference (13-15 September 2017) was a great success - at least, that is what IPEd and Editors Queensland concluded on the basis of feedback at the conference and the evaluation forms completed by those who attended.

If you were unable to attend and would like to find out what you missed, browse the program on the conference website.

The theme of the conference was 'Advancing Our Profession' - chosen in the wake of the restructuring that was designed to make IPEd the strong national voice for editors Australia-wide. The 2017 IPEd Conference was thus the first conference of our new national organisation and a great vehicle for advancing the profession of editing.

To read about some of the highlights of the conference, read Offpress September-October 2017 and Offpress November-December 2017.
