Writer and editor: benefit or disadvantage?
EdsQ member Maggy Saldais has been combining editing and writing for decades. During that time, she has worked for a range of prominent institutional clients, including book publishers, as well as for private individuals. In between editing stints, she wrote (entirely, or as co-author, contributor or 'ghost writer') a substantial number of textbooks for Wiley and Oxford, some of which went on to become market leaders or APA award winners.
This experience has given Maggy some first-hand insights into the problems created-and advantages offered-by being both a writer and an editor. Would you like to hear more? Perhaps you, too, have had the same experience, or might like to have. Come to the first member meeting of EdsQ. All welcome!
