The Tao of Everest — Ian Woodall

Ian crossing crevasse
Ian Woodall crossing a crevasse

29 August 2012 (AGM)

Having climbed Mount Everest by both its south and north sides, Ian brings the triumphs and tragedies to the Society of Editors. Don't miss this funny, poignant story of personal inspiration and practical leadership.

Before embarking on his Everest expeditions Ian worked as a school teacher, an internal auditor, a restaurant owner and head chef, as well as serving as an officer in the British Army.

Ian's inspiring presentation will follow the Annual General Meeting business, including election of members of the Management Committee. Please consider nominating for a committee position or offering support in a specific work area. The terrific response last year enabled us to reinvigorate the Society and improve many of our member services.
