What daily journalism taught me about editing — Marsali Mackinnon

1 August 2012

Can tabloid journalism really teach us anything about editing well? That's the question Marsali Mackinnon asks - and attempts to answer with some real-life examples and anecdotes - in this presentation.

Join our fellow member Marsali as she takes you on a guided tour behind the scenes, from the Rabelaisian news-rooms of "old school" journalism to the very laid-back sub-editors' desk at the Fiji Times, and more - picking up nuggets of editing wisdom along the way.
