To meet the needs of our rapidly changing profession, Editors Queensland presents a program of workshops, lectures and seminars. Topics range from editing and production for multimedia to grammar and proofreading, and encompass diverse genres, including non-fiction, corporate and fiction.
Our experienced presenters, chosen because of their particular expertise, are editors and people who work closely with editors.
Editors Queensland welcomes feedback from members and other interested parties about current, past and potential future workshops. Please direct all enquiries to our Training Officer.
Two further training opportunities are available in 2018:
- Saturday 27 October (half-day): The Freelance Editor's Toolkit with Peter Riches
- Saturday 3 November (half-day): Building Alliances with Publishing Professionals, with Kirsty Ogden and Patrice Shaw.
